OVERNIGHT TREATMENTS.

Water based face creams are predominant on the shelves, but here at Kintsugi Skin we have a far superior alternative. Water based moisturizers contain roughly 75% water, which then needs added stabilizers, emulsifiers and of course preservatives, leaving only a small percentage of maybe 10% for the beneficial active ingredients. Our waterless balms contain 100% beneficial, active ingredients. This means they are highly concentrated and thus you only need a fraction of the amount. Our 1.3 oz jars of balm last approximately 4 months or longer when used as suggested, providing your skin with only what it needs, and nothing more.

Our overnight treatments begin with the same steps as our serums. We start with our house made phyto defense infusion. We use a unique, skin specific blend of whole plant matter, which goes through our proprietary three-month, temperature controlled extraction process, to capture the full spectrum of healing nutrients in optimal ratios.

Once the infusion process is complete, it's used as a base to cocoon organic, unrefined, cold pressed seed oils, chosen specifically for their essential fatty acid and nutrient rich profile and rich, deeply healing and moisture inducing butters. The finished formula provides the skin everything your complexion needs to thrive. Lastly, as in all our formulas, we add deliberate, micro doses of pure essential oils as a final treatment, which support our unique formulas.

** We use minimal amounts of essential oils for treatment purposes and not for their scent. However they do subtly enhance and compliment the rich, earthy scent of the formula.
