Why fatty acids?

Fatty acids are essential components of the skin's lipid matrix, that lock in moisture and prevent transepidermal water loss. They improve skin texture, increase hydration for dry skin, and provide anti-aging benefits by replacing lipids lost to aging or environmental stress. They function as emollients, filling in gaps between skin cells to create a smoother, softer surface.

BIOME glides on effortlessly, melting on contact with your skin, allowing maximum absorbtion of nutrients. Just swipe a couple of times per area and massage in.

Ingredient highlights:

● Kokum Butter ~ is a lightweight, non comedogenic butter derived from the Garcinia indica tree. It's a deeply moisturizing emollint, which excels in the treatment of dry skin, sensitive skin, without clogging the pores. The rich amount of fatty acids it contains boosts skin elasticity, aids in cell regeneration and soothes, leaving gorgeous supple skin. Great for sensitive skin, psoriasis and eczema.

● Active Synergy Complex ~

Fortified with specifically chosen herbs each with their own unique purpose of supporting the skin and soothing any irritation. This infusion is rich in antioxidants and fatty acids to help strengthen and balance the skin barrier and prevent oxidative damage. Rich in Vitamins A,C & K. It helps to boost the production of collagen and elastin and suppresses certain matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) which cause wrinkles.

● Coenzyme Q10 ~

Is a free radical scavenger that can effectively counteract free radical damage and provide significant protection against UVA-induced depletion of cell membrane. This function helps to prevent damage to collagen and elastin production and help with wrinkles. Studies have proven that maturing skin can be dramatically improved with topical use of Coenzyme Q10 since it penetrates both the surface AND the deeper layers of the epidermis, replenishing ubiquinone levels. This helps to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, whilst plumping, firming, restoring elasticity and stimulating collagen production. It also allows skin cells to better utilize other nutrients.

To use ~ Unscrew and remove outer lid and twist the lotion up just a bit prior to removing the clear inner lid. Gently twist inner lid in both directions, left and right to ease off. Glide stick over skin and massage in.

A Note About Summer Heat:
