Bian stone facial gua sha is known for its healing benefits and effectiveness in facial rejuvenation. It's used to gently scrape different areas of the face, to increase energy flow, increase lymphatic drainage, decrease inflammation, brighten complexion and contour face muscles. It promotes healing, recovery, drainage of toxins and negative energy. The results are truly incredible and beautifully natural, with consistent use.
The incredible properties of bian stone are powerful and healing and have long been used in traditional Chinese medicine. When using the stone, it begins to draw energy towards itself, creating it's own current, pushing the toxins out of stuck areas, allowing the energy channels to freely flow.
Bian stone, also known as Sibin Pumice, is a micro-crystalline stone made up of 95% dense crystalline calcite, clay, pyrite, and more than 40 minerals and trace elements: Calcium, Magnesium, Natrium, Phosphorus, Negative ions, Sr, Ti, Cr, Mn, Zn, Fe, and K.
U CURVE
Used to follow the angles of the brow bone, cheek bone and jaw line.
Long Curve
Used for making long, deliberate strokes on the side of the neck, front of the neck and soft area underneath the cheek bones.
Tip
Used to apply acupressure anywhere on the face holding tension.
Comb
Stimulates blood flow and lymphatic drainage.
To Use:
Start with a clean face. Apply facial oil to allow your stone to glide effortlessly over skin. Hold stone at a 30-45 degree angle to your skin and apply light to medium pressure. For lymphatic drainage glide the stone downwards from the jaw line, down the side of the neck, with long strokes. For firming and sculpting, glide the stone upwards and outwards.
To care for your stone we recommend cleaning after each use with a mild soap and water and then storing in the pouch it came in. The stone is fragile and will break if dropped.
** These are authentic bian stone and there may be pale veins visible on some stones leftover from the process of formation. These are organic, not scratches.
