Navel Therapy.
Navel oiling is a common part of Ayurveda, the traditional Indian holisic practice. The navel, or belly button isn't just a tiny hole on your tummy, it's an important point of therapy, a chamber which is believed to represent the origin of life and balance in the body and is believed to hold the solution to many health issues.
The philosophy of navel therapy is that the navel continues to serve as a foundation for balance throughout adulthood. In Ayurvedic medicine there are "nadis", which are energetic connections throughout the body. Nadis connect different parts of the body through the chakras, creating their own system, similar to our blood vessel system, but this is an energetic system (similar to acupuncture meridians in traditional Chinese medicine. There are 72,00 nadis that connect the navel to the organs and chakras of the body.
Kintsugi Skin's ayurvedic navel oil, is formulated specifically to support the skin and compliments our holistic approach to skincare. This therapeutic blend helps remove toxins, fuel the digestive fire, detoxify impurities, and provide optimal nourishment for the skin.
To maximize the benefits of the navel oil, we advise you to be consistent with healthy eating habits which support good gut health.
